Villa 47 is fully self contained with 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, tv/vcr/dvd, gas cooktop, microwave/convection oven, fridge and BBQ. We will provide bed linen, pillows and bath towels. The resort facilities are available for your use with 2 swimming pools, restaurants, coffee shop etc.

If you are interested in dolphin feeding a "Dolphin Education Package" is available on a standby basis from Resort Reception for approximately $85 for adults and $55 for children. This Marine Biologist led tour includes an Eco Cruise where you may see Turtles, Dugong and Dolphins in the wild. It is free for everyone to watch the nightly wild dolphin feeding from the viewing platform suspended from the jetty.

The island is not accessible by car as there are no roads, only sand tracks. If you take your 4WD over to the Island you can book on the MiCat which departs from Lytton and lands at the Tangalooma Wrecks, a short drive along the beach to the resort.

You may choose to take the passenger ferry directly to the resort. You can book tours around the island or rent a 4WD if you do not bring your own vehicle. These can be paid for at the Resort Tours Desk when you are on the island.

We had a great stay and want to rebook for next year !!! After 30 years in the travel industry (sold out a few years ago ) we became very fussy so to rebook a year in advance is unheard of for us !!!!
That shows you how much our whole family enjoyed the place and especially your villa .
It is a very special place
By the way the BBQ was the envy of everyone!!!

Locality

The resort is surrounded by the Moreton Island National Park, just over an hour by boat from Brisbane.

Activities include Quad bike tours, jetsking, whale watching, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, sailing, parasailing, scuba diving, 4WD, fishing and much more. Also one of the few locations in the world where you can hand feed wild dolphins.
