The Shack is a 3br fully fenced house located at Moore Park Beach (20 minutes north of Bundaberg City) which will accommodate up to 7 people and is pet friendly (limit 2 dogs please). Master BR1 offers queen-size bed, BR2 bunk beds & single bed, BR3 has bunk beds for 2, double sofa bed in living/dining area. Master BR2 with queen-size bed available on special request (extra rate applies). Portable cot and high chair available. Lock up garage is provided. Ocean glimpses and only 100m to the beach. Enjoy BBQ facilities and covered and paved outdoor area to capture the ocean breeze. For the sporty there is tennis, lawn bowls, surfing, walking (lagoon, beach or oceanside paths), fishing - or you can just relax and enjoy the sounds of the surf and abundant bird life, read a little, rest a little or visit any of the many tourist attractions Bundaberg and the Wide Bay offer.

Moore Park township spans 8 kilometres along the 17 kilometres of Moore Park Beach. This is one of the region's best beaches and is only 20 minutes drive from the regional city of Bundaberg - making it an ideal holiday destination.

The beach faces north east and is bounded by the Kolan River to the north and Moore Park Creek to the south, offering estuary as well as beach fishing. 4WDriving is permitted on the beach outside of the township areas for easy access to both. There are excellent public parks, walkways and car access to the beach.

The beach is rated in the least hazardous category by Surf Life Saving Australia. The Surf Club is very active and hosts many surf carnivals and events. The beach in front of the surf life saving club house is patrolled during the school holidays and summer weekends.

Loggerhead Turtles lay and hatch right on the beach - with a local group recording all hatchling activities.

Dogs are permitted on the beach, as signposted, on a lead.

Moore Park Beach has something for everyone. The Bowls Club is licenced and has nationally ranked greens with night bowls available in the summer months. The tennis club has a large junior membership and lighting for evening games. Both clubs have open days and welcome visitors. The skate bowl is oceanside, with BBQ areas adjacent for family fun and shade. Or just laze on the beach, enjoy a cafe or tavern meal - relax and enjoy.

Bundaberg offers modern shopping centres with all the major chains and supermarkets, pubs, clubs, restaurants, cinemas, hospitals, doctors and attractions. The tourist offices can provide all your tour information, maps and bookings.
