Situated at the gateway to the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges Merlin's Garden is a luxury Cottage set in tranquil garden surrounds with beautiful mountain view. It is close to all tourist spots, including Mt. Dandenong Observatory, the National Rhododendron Garden, William Ricketts Sanctuary and Puffing Billy. The beautiful Yarra Valley with all its wineries and the Healsville Sanctuary are only 20 mins. from Merlin's Garden.

Wander through the garden down winding paths to the sculpted ponds and surrender to the beauty of such plants as rhododendrons, magnolias and roses. As part of the Australian Open Garden Scheme your hosts have designed the garden for you to relax in.

Harald and Irene will be delighted to spoil you with homemade produce, including fresh European-style bread and berry jam from their own little orchard and fresh orange juice from the grove. A delicious gourmet breakfast awaits you which you can enjoy on your private terrace or in your dining room (silver service available)

At nighttime relax in front of the fire with a glass of wine before retiring. The beautiful appointed bedroom has a magnificent king size bed, a spacious ensuite and additional view of the mountains. Please note that there is a European fold-out bed with fully spung matressfor two more adults.

Also available: "Merlin's Garden Studio", a complete self-contained and private accommodation with its own garden entrance and direct excess to "Merlin's Garden Cottage". A group booking up to 6 people is possible.

"Thanks for a marvelous stay. The pathway in the beautiful garden from our private and secure parking area to the B&B enthralled us. The lounge, dining and kitchen was great and the bedroom area and ensuite very comfortable. Breakfast with homemade bread, croissants, extra large servings made our stay complete. Locality

A short walk from Merlin’s Garden and you are in the National Park to enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna. Visit the National Rhododendron Gardens, Kalorama Park with its stunning views or see William Ricketts Sanctuary. At Healsville Sanctuary Australian Wildlife awaits you and should you take a ride on Puffing Billy on its way to Emerald Lake Park, enjoy towering Mountain Ash in the forest on the way. A drive through the Yarra Valley with its world famous wineries and restaurants is a must. You can go ballooning and see the world from above with breathtaking view across the whole region. There are Galleries to be visited, Antique shops to be explored and many more attractions to see.
Within walking distance the local cafes and restaurants are proud to serve specialties, which will delight you.
