Bed & Breakfast

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation consists of one bedroom with a queen sized bed, bathroom and separate toilet. Nearby is a small sitting room. From the bedroom a sliding door connects to a covered verandah.
PLEASE NOTE that the bed and breakfast section is not a cottage but part of the home. It has its own private access to and fro car parking area.

Wonga Heights is an In-House Bed and Breakfast and provides a A La Carte Breakfast.
Features a delightful garden with many rhododendrons, azaleas and ferns with lovely views from the deck,
Wi-Fi and a flat panel TV, DVD / CD player,
a table, two chairs, a mini fridge and tea & coffee making facilities are provided.

In our experience, B&Bs are generally hit & miss. This is most definitely a hit! Many thoughtful touches made our stay refreshing and peaceful. Egon & Maureen were skilled hosts, who made us feel welcome and able to enjoy our stay in privacy at the same time. Definitely recommended.

Many thanks mine host, we thoroughly enjoyed the night stay at Wonga Heights, a perfect place to springboard into the Yarra Valley area. The best bed I've slept in.

Locality

The property is close to many amenities being walking distance to the Yarra River, a three kilometre walk or bike ride along the Warburton Trail to Warburton with its many attractive shops and cafes. There are many lovely walking trails in close proximity. There are also several quality hotels in the area providing delicious meals. The Yarra Valley is famous for its wineries and there are many off the Warburton Highway as well as towards Healesville to the north.

Property

The property is on 3/4 of an acre with a beautiful garden, towering mountain gums and an abundance of birdlife. There are koalas in the area as well as some introduced wildlife in the form of deer. The views are stunning looking to the east over Mt Little Joe and a lovely western view from the deck off the bedroom.
