Turlee Station is a working sheep and wheat station only 90km north east of Mildura. It is 145,000 acres in size and runs up to 10,000 head of sheep and harvests up to 7,000 acres of wheat crop. In 1982 the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area was listed, with Turlee Station being listed in this region.
We offer shearer's quarters accommodation a self contained cottage and camping facilities with the atmosphere and experience of staying on a working outback sheep station. We have communal cooking and dining facilities within the shearers quarters with a fully equiped kitchen.
We have an abundance of native flora and fauna which provides for beautiful bush walking, bird watching and photographic opportunities.
We offer demonstrations which include sheep shearing and sheep dog working and also provide tag-along tours on our water runs. We are also happy to provide general station history talks and answer any questions.
We hope to bring you back to nature and guarantee a relaxing and memorable experience!

Rooms
The campground is on a shaded hill top behind the Turlee homestead. It has fantastic views of Lake Arumpo with perfect photographic opportunities at dusk and dawn. It is the only campground in the area with hot running showers and flushing toilets!
The shearers quarters consist of a row of 6 rooms each containing a different makeup of beds. Rooms range from 1 single bed up to two singles and a double in family rooms. All beds come with a base sheet and pillow with pillow case.
Linen hire is available at $10 per person including a sleeping bag (doona for doubles), blanket and towel.
Swag hire is also available.
A seperate hut, the "Bush Bungalow" with beautiful fold out shutters, contains a double bed with all linen and towels supplied.
Chibnalwood Cottage is closer to Mungo alongside Nathen & Sophie's residence. The cottage boasts polished floor boards, a wood fired heater and air conditioning.
Shearing shed also available for large groups. Camp stretcher beds are available for hire
