Cottage

Self contained 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage on orchard/vineyard. Comfortably sleeps up to 7 (8 with cot). Two extra roll away beds can be arranged. Master: double bed with WIR and ensuite, Bed 2: twin beds and cot, Bed 3: Queen bed plus single. Peaceful rural location close to golf course. Golf clubs provided for guest use. Vineyard views from lounge and Bed 3. Family friendly, games and movies available. Outside pets welcome, with secure yard and undercover sleeping place. Fresh seasonal farm produce in fridge on arrival (either grapes; citrus, avocados or stonefruit). Guest walks through vineyard can be arranged, as well as the chance to pick your own fruit (in season) in the orchard. Shady garden, undercover parking for two vehicles plus off street parking for your boat or van. Three minute drive to local shops in Irymple (including Angus Park dried fruits store), 6 minutes to supermarket, 10 mins to heart of Mildura, 10 mins to closest boat access on Murray River. A quiet retreat from which to explore all that Sunraysia has to offer. Long term rental rates negotiable.

Locality

A quiet and lovely tree lined rural street close to the village of Irymple and within 10 minutes of Mildura heart (restaurants and cafes, marina, Stefanos, shopping, paddleboats). Nearby attractions: Red Cliffs Golf Club, Big Lizzie, Woodsie's Gem Shop, Angus Park Dried Fruit Store, King's Billabong and Psyche Pumps. Services in Irymple (3 mins) include: post office/newsagent, boutiques, library, general stores, pizza, fish and chips, swimming pool, bocce club, senior citizen's club, Steiner playgroup and Angus Park store/cafe.

Property

Three bedroom weatherboard farm house. Two bathrooms (ensuite, room with bath, shower room and separate toilet). Suitable for families or groups (up to eight). House is not sleek and modern but is clean and homely and in a peaceful shady garden setting. Friendly owners (plus three boys, a dog and some chooks) live next door.

The cottage is located on a working horticultural property. We grow grapes, olives, citrus and avocados. Guest walks through the property can be arranged - and we always welcome helpers (particularly at picking time). A basket of seasonal produce from the farm is provided on arrival.

Red Cliffs Golf Course is a five minute walk from the property. A basic set of golf clubs is provided for guest use.
