The lodge was completed in July,2007 and is the perfect retreat for guests to enjoy a rural aspect within a short distance from Mildura.(7ks to Mildura Centre Plaza) Enjoy walking around the property among the horses or playing with the dogs. Hosts Kim and Vicki will entertain the kids doing farm jobs while Mum and Dad take a break and relax in style,either on the deck or in the comfort of your rooms.
At the end of the day if you don't feel like going out and enjoying some of the beautiful local restaurants you may choose to join us for a home cooked meal or self cater using the outdoor kitchen/B.B.Q. area.
For those travelling with pets, we have a modern stable block for horses and kennels that are available for your canine friends if you need to leave them while you are off exploring our region.
For the Corporate market enjoy complimentary drinks and nibbles on the deck after your busy day before joining your hosts for a home cooked dinner. Watch the sunset and relax before tackling those after hours jobs that need to be done. After dinner you can retire to your bedroom which houses its own HD LCD television,relax in the guests lounge or go for a walk around the property.

Locality

Cabarita Lodge is surrounded by vineyards, 7ks from Mildura Centre Plaza. The lodge is set on our 5 acres which also houses our ponies and 4 dogs. We are within walking distance to Snakes and Ladders amusement park,Lake Hawthorn and only a short drive to other local attractions such as wineries, cinema,local markets,speedway and horse racing tracks,and the Murray river etc.Attractions such as Mungo and Hattah National Park are approx 1hr drive and worth a visit while in the area.Half an hour to Wentworth there is plenty to do and see,exploring the attractions where the Murray meets the Darling.

We understand that people who travel with their pets think of them as part of the family.
We provide access to a grassed area adjacent to the house, and an area adjacent to your room that is protected from the weather. We offer bedding and bowls for pets, and with 5 acres on which to explore, your pet will enjoy the experience as much as you.
We have several secure yards should you wish to venture out for the day without your animal. We will consider allowing pet access to your room on an individual basis. Note we also cater for horses and alpacas in our modern enclosed stable block. We also have a safe round yard and excersize area available along with a wash bay.
