"We just loved it at Edgewater Terraces. It was a well deserved break and the accommodation was just wonderful,clean and modern. It had everything. It was close to shops and the boardwalk was magnificant. We will definately be going again. Thanks to Bob and Sue. We were 4 adults and 4 children and not only did the adults have a great time the children did also and asked if we could all go back soon.

"The 4 hour drive to Metung was extremely cold and wet but was quickly forgotten about when we met the owner Sue who was extremely friendly, informative on the town, places to visit and eat etc. The house was beautiful, is in a lovely position where you can take a fantastic picturesque easy walk into Metung. It is well equipped with all the essentials, especially in the kitchen. Plenty of room and lovely cosy fire, in addition to the two reverse cycle air conditioners. Would recommend it to anyone. "

"We were a party of 7 adult ladies, and we had a fantastic time. the accommodation was spot on, nicely furnished and very clean. tThe caretakers were on hand if we needed any help..gave directions and advice on what to see around Metung. Would recommend Melaleuca any time and to anyone who wishes to stay around Gippsland."

"Generally a roomy and comfortable house. Fantastic pictures of the surrounding lake etc. Kitchen facilities are adequate for 10 people but do bring a saucepan or two if you want to cook up a storm. Easy access to the lake. We had a great time and would like to come back again one day."

"Edgewater Terraces at Metung is absolutely stunning. Our stay was beautiful and relaxing even with the kids (who enjoyed the stay as much as we did). They keep asking 'Mummy when are we going back to Metung?'. We played in the pool, went fishing, dined at the beautiful restaurants, watched the sunset and sunrise from our room and just relaxed. The views from our front water terrace was picturesque. I can't wait to come back and neither can the kids. "

"It was lovely, would love to go back! Fantastic view in front units.
The only improvement I would make is make the bathroom more modern (although this was of no concern to us, just a suggestion).
I think the swimming area needs some cleaning up.
We loved it, there were great modern furniture & clean."
