Central Metung ~ Spa ~ Wood Fire This 1 bedroom cottage is located centrally in Metung. A Queen sized bed, ensuite with double spa and a cosy living/dining area makes this a delightful cottage for a couple. Well equipped kitchen and a private balcony.

"We stayed at Clovelly Cottage in Metung for 4 nights and found this to be an excellent choice. We had a small cottage at the rear of the main house and found it had almost everything we needed. The cottage was very spacious, comfortable and clean and surrounded by lovely gardens with many parrots visiting for feeding. There was a wood burning heater in the main room plus a split system and a large spa in the bathroom. We were within a very short walking distance to the village and excellent local walks. Great fishing close by where you could throw a line in off the jetty and catch your dinner if you were lucky. We would have liked better cooking facilities as there was only a microwave and a portable hotplate for use but we ended up doing our dining at the local Metung Hotel where we were treated to the most magnificent meals. Best part of this stay was the fact that Clovelly Cottage is pet friendly and our dog had a great time chasing the rabbits about. Quite a treat for a city dog. The owners were very friendly and although being quite close by, they were very respectful of their guests privacy. Thoroughly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away for a bit of peace and quiet.
