TV, DVD, stereo/CD player, reverse cycle air-conditioning. Doonas, pillows, linen and towels provided. Self catering. Sleeps 4 people (6 if 2 sleep on sofa bed).

The attractions of the High Country are not limited to the snow ski season. Winter, summer, autumn or spring, there's always something exciting to do in the High Country. Alternatively you can simply relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, play a round of golf, have a game of tennis or go for a bush walk.

Merrijig is situated at the base of Mount Buller and is approximately 17km from Mansfield. Merrijig is situated in the scenic Great Dividing Range, offering beautiful scenery and a number attractive of picnic areas along the Delatite River which passes through the town on its route between Mount Buller and Lake Eildon. The Hunt Club Hotel was established in Merrijig in 1873 and provides excellent meals at reasonable prices.

Mansfield Shire is renowned for its natural beauty and alpine mountains. Significant landscape features include Mount Buller, Mount Stirling and the Great Dividing Range. Natural environment features include parts of Lake Eildon and Alpine National Parks. Valleys of the Howqua, Delatite and Goulburn Rivers are also significant landscape features in the Shire. The areas are in high demand for recreation and lifestyle activities.

Come to the High Country and find yourself in a land where legends ride. Of course these days, those legends are as likely to be on a mountain bike, in a four wheel drive or on skis rather than on horseback. But legends they remain.
