Cottage, Holiday house, Serviced apartment

Number 64 Pentland is a delightful, fully furnished serviced home, just minutes away from Melbourne's City Centre.

This Art-Deco cottage features all modern conveniences and the comforts of home, and can sleep up to 7 people.

Features fully equipped kitchen, stocked larder, laundry, 68 cm flat screen tv, VCR, DVD, Playstation 2, complementary films and games, sheltered BBQ area and courtyard garden. The house has ducted air conditioning to all rooms, and has 2 space heaters to keep you warm on the coldest Melbourne nights.

Operators James and Sara live right next door, and are happy to help you in any aspect of your stay

Locality

Located in Yarraville in Melbourne's inner west, Number 64 Pentland is a 2 minute walk from Seddon train station, and a 10 minute stroll to the delights of Yarraville Village, with its bars, restaurants, shops and its own Sun Cinema 5 cinema multiplex. It is a five minute drive to the Westgate Freeway, the gateway to the rest of Melbourne.

Yarraville is ideally located to easily access tourist and cultural sites such as Melbourne Zoo, Melbourne Aquarium, Flemington Racecourse, the Queen Victoria Markets, Federation Square, ScienceWorks, Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, Telstra Dome Stadium and surrounding Docklands precinct with its many great restaurants and bars.

Pet Friendly

Yes, we are Pet Friendly. We have animals ourselves and understand how difficult it can be to leave then at home.

However there are a few simple rules:

Medium or large dogs must be kept outside all the time. There is a medium sized yard, with plenty of under cover area, and an outside (closeable) laundry they may sleep in. Some fences are chest height, and may be jumpable by larger dogs. Animals may not be left inside the house unattended.

Small dogs and cats are OK inside in the back part of the house, but are not allowed on furniture or beds.

It goes without saying that as responsible animal owners you will clean up all messes your critter may leave. If your animal is moulting or excessively hairy, there is a vacuum cleaner in the laundry which we would appreciate you using to help keep the house hair free. Unlike some other pet friendly places we do not charge extra for pets.

As with any guest, human, canine, feline etc, all damages must be paid for.

There is a master bedroom with a queen bed, a second bedroom with 2 singles, a small 3rd bedroom with a very comfy fold out double, and a fold out single that can be placed in a couple of locations in the house. Seven people is the maximum we can accommodate.)
