Salty Grape is a boutique beach house 200 metres from the silvery sands of Aldinga Beach. Minutes from McLaren Vale wineries.

Think laid-back style and elegance, in a 2 storey beach house with 5 bedrooms.

Two separate living spaces - each with kitchen, dining & entertainment areas. Two bathrooms.

Salty Grape has beautiful furnishings & excellent entertainment facilities (like a flat screen TV with surround sound DVD + an outdoor games room).

Both kitchens are generously gourmet equipped, with microwaves, fridges, crockery & glassware. Downstairs has an enormous dining table to seat 10 people and there is a dishwasher.

Each level has a r/c air conditioner, for year round comfort.

Sip a glass of local wine on the balcony. Or simply relax in the large pretty garden.

Be enticed by the fabulous beach, only a 2 minute walk from your front door. An easy pedestrian ramp takes you to a terrific section of this famous beach. You can swim here, or turn right and explore the Aldinga Reef, perhaps find a starfish or a crab lurking in the rockpools.

Salty Grape is located near the much-loved Aldinga Scrub, with the glorious swimming beach a 2 minute walk from your front door.

A playground, bike track and park are in the adjacent street.

Be surrounded by some of the world's best wineries, with McLaren Vale only a 10 minute drive away. You can stock up on shiraz, cabernet sauvignon or chardonnay - all varieties brilliantly represented in this beautiful nature-rich area. The vines are warmed by the gentle summer sun, and cooled by the fresh sea breezes.

Aldinga Beach is surrounded by several other famous beaches: Port Willunga, Silver Sands and Sellicks Beach.

Why is it unique?

Salty Grape has been recently renovated, with the comfort of families in mind. While it is laid-back and casual, style has not been sacrificed. So you can chill out with a glass of wine in designer surroundings, while your children have plenty of safe space to play.

It is unique because it is actually two apartments located in one beach house. Each level is totally self-contained. We only accommodate one group at a time, so you can enjoy the whole property in privacy.

Have a round of table tennis in the outdoor games room. With the mild Mediterranean climate, you will probably want to entertain outside - where a BBQ and play equipment is provided.
