Family Friendly

Two separate TV's and two separate living room areas (with fairly sound proof doors make the Cottage ideal place to take children over 5 years. Trivial Persuit , Scrabble and cards are provided. Picnics at Kuitpo forrest - 5 minutes away provide a great family outing. The cottage provides a fully equipt picnic basket.

Cottage, Holiday house, Bed & Breakfast

Kenwood Cottage is a self contained vineyard cottage providing weekend as well as longer term holiday accommodation with breakfast supplied on the first morning of your stay.

It contains 9 rooms including 2 queen bedrooms and one with bunks, fully self contained kitchen, two living areas, bathroom, laundry and separate toilet.
It is ideally located in secluded country side but only 10 minutes to either McLaren Vale or Willunga townships. Panoramic views to the coast are available from the deck, the main living room and the master bedroom.
Easy access, parking and unloading - no stairs and covered carpark. It is surrounded by a large attractive garden.

It is beautifully cool in summer (500m above sea level, double brick offers insulation plus ceiling fans in all rooms (which are rarely required). In winter it is warmed by a slow combustion log fire as well as an oil heater and wide westerly facing windows which capture the winter sun.

As well as all the activities offered in the district (listed below) the cottage offers a wonderful opportunity to stay at home and relax. It provides breakfast, fresh flowers in all main rooms, games, plenty of holiday reading, CD's, DVD's and an ipod docking station

Beds were perfect , had electric blanket on Sat! Inside temperature was great, Great selection for breakfast, more than enough - fruit, flowers and freshly baked bread were fabulous!Thanks Jane!

Things to do

In close proximity to the cottage there are activities for everyone:
The cottage supplies a large fully fitted out picnic basket which can be stocked full of local produce at the Willunga Farmers market, open every Saturday morning.

Kuitpo forrest, just 5 minutes away, is a great place to bushwalk, bikeride or picnic in.

The McMurtrie Mile wineries and restaurants are also only 5 minutes away at the bottom of Penny's Hill..

It takes only 20 minutes to get to the stunning Fleurieau beaches where you can surf or swim and just 30 minutes away are the south coast beaches - Middleton, Goolwa and Victor Harbour

The tour down passes by the front of the cottage 3 tiimes in January and the Classic Car Rally passses by in November.

As well the cottage offers a wonderful opportunity to stay at home and relax. It provides breakfast if required, games,, plenty of holiday reading, CD's, DVD's and an ipod docking station

The cottage can provide transport to and from restaurants if organized in advance.
