"Very friendly and informative host, knew the district attractions and gave great advice. Huge breakfasts in cosy kitchen, free range eggs yumyum....and best of all my little dog was welcome, and a friendly mate for him too.Couldnt have been made more welcome and at home, loved all the chooks and the country atmosphere, room so warm and comfy and all facilities clean and anything needed was there.We had a lovely time and the history of the house is a bonus"

"The coach house is very cute and cosy. I went with my young daughter and dog, both of whom were very sad to leave. The bikes there are great for getting around this picturesque and quiet farm country. The owner is very welcoming, generous and deeply interested in the history and qualities of the local environment around Cumberland House. Would recommend a visit. "
