The bungalows are suitable for singles, couples and families. We have plenty of activities for kids of all ages. See the THINGS TO DO section listed separately.

For your comfort ALL rooms are now NON SMOKING although you are welcome to smoke on the verandahs or elsewhere around the grounds. The bungalows are certified ALLERGY FREE by Allergy Busters. Sorry, because of this we accept NO PETS whether they be birds cats dogs lizards etc..............

Being located right on the water means that if you are interested in water skiing (2 ski zones close by), fishing (flathead bream & whiting mostly) & crabbing (muddies) you'll be right at home (no crocodiles or stingers). Or for others the nearby barramundi farm makes the fishing that much easier. Bring your boat (with 2 sand anchors), skis, boogie boards, swimmers, fishing lines, crab pots, hat & esky!

The attractions of the coast from the scenic walks of the Glasshouse Mountains and the famous Australia Zoo in the south, the arts and crafts of Maleny/Montville to the west or the fantastic cafes and shops of Noosa to the north, are all within an easy 20 minute drive.

Otherwise the closer Surf clubs, RSL clubs, cafes, night spots, beaches, and Underwater World are within 10 minutes drive...............

Even closer attractions include Bli Bli Fairytale Castle, the barramundi farm and the Ski n Skurf Cable Water ski park - all are within 2 minutes drive...............

For those that just want to relax - the waterfront, tennis courts, swimming pool, bbqs and adjacent Waterfront Hotel provide great meals & entertainment without having to get in the car...............

Maroochydore is located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland, just 100 kms north of Brisbane.

Domestic flights are available directly into the Sunshine Coast airport on Jetstar or Virgin Blue. The airport is only 7 minutes driving to the north east of Maroochy River Bungalows................

For those who are familiar with the area we are approximately 2km towards Maroochydore from the Bli Bli Castle AND 2km towards Bli Bli from the Sunshine Motorway on the David Low Way across the water from the Waterfront Hotel and the Endeavour Replica...............

If you are unfamiliar with the coast and will be driving use UBD Map Ref 68:H5 or Gregorys Map Ref 96:C5. Turn off David Low Way at the Endeavour Replica & Waterfront Hotel. Follow the signs & Blue & Yellow flags to Maroochy River Bungalows...............
