The 'EDGE OF INNES' is situated just 50 metres across a reserve to the start of the National Park & only 100 metre walk to the edge of the ocean. If you look at the maps you will see that this property has a unique location.

This small township of Marion Bay is only 3 hours drive from Adelaide and is the gateway to Innes National Park.

There are two taverns in the area providing fantastic views whilst serving great food & beverages.

There is a well seviced boat ramp and two jetties near by providing great fishing at your door step.
(Fishing Charters can be booked through the General Store).



There is lots to do & see and the great thing is that it's all at your backdoor.



Bushwalking - through Innes National Park



Exploring - the old gypsum trail



Swimming - in the clean waters of the Southern Ocean



Fishing - off jetties, beaches or a boat charter



Surfing - try out some of South Australia's most challenging breaks



Diving - check out the local ship wrecks or even get lucky with a fresh crayfish



Relaxing - layout on the deck and soak up the sun



Dining - with two great taverns only 5 minutes drive away, having a meal is easy

(Being on the Edge of a National Park we do not allow pets, sorry)

Our check in time is 3pm & check out is 12pm.

House Details


Surrounded by native scrub at the end of a cresent, 'Edge of Innes' hides itself away from other holiday makers.

This two bedroom house has a open plan living design with a fully equiped modern kitchen.

We have just installed a new panasonic reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge area, which keeps the whole house at the right tempature for your needs.

There is a large dining table, lounges, 80cm LCD TV, & DVD player in the open lounge.

There is a gas BBQ & Outdoor setting that can be setup on the deck area.

There is a games area located in the shed with tennis table & dart board.

The house has a electric & wood heater to keep you warm through the winter months, there are bags of logs in the National Park or you can bring a bag along with you.

The main room has a queen size bed with a view through to the National Park. The spare room has a bunk bed with a double below & single on top. There is also a spare single mattress.

The new bathroom has a shower with a three quarter bath for the kids, laundry basin & large vanity & toilet all in the one area.

There are coin operated washing machines located at the nearby caravan park for those coming for a long stay.
We do have a large clothes line but due to being on rain water we have not yet installed a washing machine.

Quilts & pillows are supplied but you will need to bring along linen. Quilt covers, sheets, pillow cases, towels & tea towels.

Other than that, a bottle of red wine a good book or a DVD and your set.

We require that at least one of the tenants staying needs to be of a minimum age of 23.
