Waterview Gardens B&B overlooks the D'Entrecasteaux Channel between the mainland and North Bruny Island and is a gateway to the beautiful Huon Valley Trail and also Bruny Island itself. Wander around this beautiful part of Tasmania and see the Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves, thermal springs and Mt Wellington with its majestic views over Hobart and surrounds. Take the jet boat at Huonville, lunch at Peppermint Bay, see the beautiful timber, artisan and craft centre at Geeveston where some of the loveliest timber furniture is made, fish for trout and salmon at the fish farm, visit a sheep cheese farm where you can taste the wares. Call into some lovely cold area wineries and taste supurb wines of the area, see the Apple museum and buy some of their yummy treats. Finally though, spend enough time to see the Huon Valley with all the beautiful little areas within it that sometimes get missed by tourists.

Only 15 minutes drive of Hobart we are in a rural part of Tasmania but well situated for access to Wineries, restaurants, and all the local attractions and those listed above.

The Huon Valley and Channel area is one of stunning beauty with its beaches, bays, wilderness, local grown food and wines, history and heritage and arts and crafts. There are attractions like jet boat rides, Trout fishng, Forest Furniture gallery, Tahune Air walk above the canapy of the temperate rain forest, the Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs, Sheep Cheesery, Apple and Heritage museum, Ida Bay Historic Railway and the Bligh Museum on Bruny Island amd much, much more.

Wake up to the sun coming up over the waters of the D'Entrecastreaux Channel, the movements of the little boats on the water and at night the moon glistening from above. Sit on the deck on a warm night and just take in the fresh air and the views and most of all........ relax amongst our lovely garden which is about 2 acres in size.

We have a King bed bedroom with juliette balcony, beautiful views, en suite, tea and coffee, fridge, TV and DVDs. A Queen bed bedroom with private bathroom, sitting area, TV and DVDs, tea and coffee making, fridge and beautiful views. We have also a double bed bedroom which can be used with the Queen room for family members at a very reduced cost as long as they share the Queen bedroom's bathroom etc. We therefore can accommodate 4 people in that configuration.
