With only a nature strip of native bushland seperating us from the golden shoreline and pristine waters, Atlantis Marcoola is a beach lovers dream. With relatively none-existant crowds, a beach which stretches on and on, and a life guard tower directly our the front, you can relax and unwind on the sand or grab a board and hit the surf. Just don't forget your sunscreen!

Canoeing & Kayaking

Located a 5 minute drive away is the popular Maroochy River. Lined with mangroves and stretching far up into the hinterland, the river is the perfect way to get back to nature and still have fun. Also popular is a trip out to Old Woman Island, a nature reserve offering glimpses of diverse Marine Birds in their natural habitat.

As a family-oriented resort, many of our facilities are geared towards kids having the holiday of their lives while parents can unwind without worrying about the safety of their little ones.
Our heated lagoon-style pool and spa has a seperate toddlers pool for babies, a huge wading area for littler ones leading to a deep end with enough room for plenty of water fun. We have free boogy boards and basketballs for kids to play with, free buckets spades for the beach, a kids playground for the 3-5 year olds and a games room full of video games and air hockey for the rest. Most importantly, there is no road seperating us from the beach, so you can feel safe knowing that even if you have to run back to the room for some more sunscreen and the kids inadvertantly follow, there's no chance of an automobile accident.
The worst part about bringing kids to Atlantis is that they'll never want to leave!

While not a place for a re-enactment of Mardi Gras (Marcoola is just too quiet), our beach is sublime and our pool is perfect for lounging. If you're looking for privacy just let us know and we will book you into an apartment where the only view is the Pacific Ocean.
