"Close enough to the town of Tanunda. We had 7 adults in our party and slept all in bedrooms. Quite house, people could still rest without being aroused from noise.

"It was handy to the places we visited in the Barossa. We discovered Two Hands Winery down the road which was a bonus. The house is as advertised.....very easy to move into and then out of. Great refrigeration if a large group were to stay there. It is good to owners gradually improving the facilities. A good feeling for staying in the country, but at the same time close to everything. Would recommend it to friends."

"It was lovely that we were in walking distance to local wineries. It was nice to have all the family in one place (4 couples and 3 dogs) and still had room to move. Lovely to have a Tundunda close by to do some shopping and get local produce. Big open spaced property to play games outdoors. Generally was a really nice holiday and break :) "

"We had a wonderful stay at 40 Acre Retreat. Our group of 8 adults and 2 small children fit easily with room to spare in this relaxed, comfortable property. Facilities were excellent, and we particularly loved the mulberry tree in the garden - fresh mulberries on pancakes for breakfast, yum! Close to lovely wineries and charming towns, a beautiful part of the world. Thank you!"

"The location was superb. It was very peaceful amidst the vines, but we also loved the accessibility to lovely wineries and nearby towns. The house was extremely comfortable and spacious and everything we required was already there, so minimal packing required. My little boy adored the shag pile carpet. "

"I loved the privacy of 40 Acre Retreat and although it felt like you were miles from anywhere it was close to both Tanunda and Nuriootpa. The house itself had a very relaxed feel. It was cosy and clean and a delight to stay there."
