Holiday house
Your stay at 40 Acre Retreat situates you in peace & tranquillity in a lovely vineyard setting, where the only noises come from the birds on the roof. In the heart of Marananga close to the major towns and wineries of the Barossa. Conveniently just minutes away from great wineries such as Two Hands Wines, Seppeltsfield winery, Whistler Wines and Torbreck Winery and many others are only a short drive away. Situated between Tanunda and Nuriootpa it is a very short ride to the shops and to the restaurants. Catering for the whole family, extended family or even two families; with 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10. Everything in the house is brand new and very comfortable. The three bedrooms include a Queen size bed and a single with trundle in the main room, a queen in the second with single bunk beds in the 3rd. The modern wood fire place is just perfect for the winter. Ceiling and free standing fans in the rooms, large new aircon unit in living room (waiting for new working air cons to be installed in the bedrooms in the near future). Enjoy a stereo/cd system and a wide screen LCD digital TV with a DVD player in the lounge where you can relax on a very comfortable and large sofa when you want to put your feet up. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric and wood burning stoves; can cater for a dinner party or for a bbq on the balcony with the WeberQ (which is also great for breakfasts), or just 6 minutes drive to restaurants, cafes, the pub or takeaways in Tanunda. Just relax and sit on the balcony with glass in hand and watch the sunset over the vineyard. We offer a carefree quiet getaway while still only a close distance to all major facilities.
