Formally a 'Couples only' accommodation operating under the trading name Calm Waters Retreat, The Black Sparrow is now Quality holiday accommodation that caters for Couples, Families and Groups.
The Black Sparrow is a 50 acre property consisting of gently and steeply sloping land facing north toward the Howqua River, offering views of pastures,forested hills and the distant rugged peaks of the Victorian Alps, including Mt Buller, Mt Howitt and The Bluff.
With Quality accommodation on two separate levels The Black Sparrow has something to offer everyone.
Chalets situated on the higher level of the property remain Luxury accommodation for Couples only, ideally situated they offer privacy and stunning views of the Howqua Valley.
Cottages on a lower level of the property are the perfect accommodation solution for Families and Groups, close enough to allow guests wishing to holiday together to enjoy each other's company and far enough away from each other to allow privacy for those wishing to enjoy their own personal space and relaxation areas.
A small boutique style Restaurant/Function Centre in the Cottage area adds to the charm and is available for hire for Special occasions, Weddings, Corporate functions and Family re-unions.
