Moore House is ideally situated in the foothills of the breathtaking High Country on a 250 acre beef cattle farm.
Perfectly positioned between the Delatite and Howqua Rivers, it is only 9 kilometres from Lake Eildon and an easy 20 minute drive from the Mount Buller tollgate.
Moore House is a private, self contained bed and breakfast cottage accommodating up to seven people (one double, one twin and a bunkroom).

It is furnished for your total relaxation with a wood-fired heater,split system airconditioning/heating unit, gas BBQ, TV,DVD,video, sound system, electric blankets, ironing facilities, all linen, towels, bathmat & tea towels. Hearty country breakfast provisions are supplied in your fully equipped kitchen.

There is a small library of books and a tape collection covering most popular music genre. If you prefer CD's you may bring your own favourites.

The cottage has a regularly tuned piano with good tone and action which is available for pianists or music students. Please specify at time of booking if you require access for it will be left open for your enjoyment. Some sheet music is provided but bring your favorite pieces!

For those who want to bring their own horses to compete in local equestrian events or simply enjoy the beautiful high country rides, there is a well fenced and secure paddock available with good access to water and ample feed.

Moore House is 15 kms from Mansfield, 9 kms from Lake Eildon and and an easy 20 minute drive to the Mt. Buller tollgate. Ballooning, fishing, nordic and alpine skiing, horse riding, water sports,bushwalking, cycling, golf, wineries, canoeing and 4 wheel driving are all activities available in the locality.

Moore House is located on 17 acres of farmland and has 2 dams. There is secure fencing for guests who would like to bring their own horses to ride or compete in the high country.
