This three bedroom, recently renovated and refurbished house is located in the heart of Mansfield. It offers affordable, modern, quality, self contained accommodation for up to 8 guests.

There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and adjoining bathroom. Third bedroom with a set of bunk beds (single on top and double on bottom) and a single bed. Second bathroom. Large living area. New kitchen with adjacent dining area. Laundry facilities. Large undercover deck with BBQ and outdoor setting. Reverse cycle air-conditioning. Large, fully enclosed rear garden.

Just wanted to thank you for letting us stay at Elouera, it was a beautiful place and very close to Mt. Buller. I hope we didn't create a mess or cause any problems, and we will definitely stay again.

Locality

The attractions of the High Country are not limited to the snow ski season. Winter, summer, autumn or spring, there's always something exciting to do in the High Country. Alternatively you can simply relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, play a round of golf, have a game of tennis or go for a bush walk.

Mansfield is a thriving town located approximately 180kms north east of Melbourne and has a resident population of approximately 6,800. There are numerous small settlements throughout the Shire.

Merrijig is situated at the base of Mount Buller and is approximately 17km from Mansfield. Merrijig is situated in the scenic Great Dividing Range, offering beautiful scenery and a number attractive of picnic areas along the Delatite River which passes through the town on its route between Mount Buller and Lake Eildon. The Hunt Club Hotel was established in Merrijig in 1873 and provides excellent meals at reasonable prices.

Mansfield Shire is renowned for its natural beauty and alpine mountains. Significant landscape features include Mount Buller, Mount Stirling and the Great Dividing Range. Natural environment features include parts of Lake Eildon and Alpine National Parks. Valleys of the Howqua, Delatite and Goulburn Rivers are also significant landscape features in the Shire. The areas are in high demand for recreation and lifestyle activities.

Come to the High Country and find yourself in a land where legends ride. Of course these days, those legends are as likely to be on a mountain bike, in a four wheel drive or on skis rather than on horseback. But legends they remain.

So what is it about this place that brings out the best in people? Well, for a start, its beautiful. rugged mountains, rolling snow plains, rushing rivers, gentle lakes and sweeping grasslands make for an ever changing, ever lovely backdrop.
