The owners of Silver Sands Retreat – Ocean Front – Bed and Breakfast welcome you to share their quite unique piece of paradise, one hour south of Perth in Mandurah. Silver Sands Retreat offers "Adults Only" accommodation, just minutes from the heart of Mandurah.

The beach front is for every one: It is sandy with waves, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. It is also the perfect spot for surfing and body boarding. We have one of the amazing beaches of the West Coast. Close to Perth, but still quiet. Perfect for a moonlight stroll: or morning walks, along the silver sands of the Indian Ocean.

Guests also have ready access to Jet Ski hire.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast every morning. Our menu offers fruit, juice, and a range of cereals including our own muesli, yoghurt and porridge in the winter months. This is followed by cooked delights from our kitchen, along with hot coffee, tea or hot chocolate. We are more than happy to accommodate special dietary needs with advance notice.
Breakfast is served between 7am and 9.30am daily.
Our retreat has a smoke-free interior environment. However smoking is permitted on the outside balconies and grounds. No pets are allowed due to allergies.

As we only have two suites available, cancellations or changes in your plans can have a significant effect. Please let us know about any changes in your plans at least 3 days in advance. If you need to change the night or nights you stay we will try and accommodate you. If you have reservations for more than one night and you do not show or call, all nights you have not prepaid for will be cancelled.

A five minute drive will take you to the heart of Mandurah, a water wonderland visited year round by day trippers and holiday makers alike. Mandurah, one of the fastest growing centres in Australia, is home to activities such as surfing, swimming, fishing, crabbing, boating, dolphin and pelican watching.

In colourful Mandurah, visitors can enjoy live Theatre (International or Local) play golf on one of four courses between 6 – 20 minutes drive, browse the great shops, enjoy a boat cruise on the canals or enjoy a movie at the cinema.

Mandurah also offers a wide range of cuisine in its many restaurants.

You can enjoy a relaxing gym session on the enclosed Leisure Deck which includes a heated spa, sauna and deluxe treadmill.
A gas barbecue is also available for use during your stay. We can supply BBQ packs for those balmy nights or a picnic pack for the more adventurous.
We can offer bookings to all local restaurants.

At Silver Sands Retreat we provide two accommodation styles. The Waterfront Suite offers a queen size bed and is facing the ocean. It has an adjoining ensuite with a private balcony and entrance.
The Leeward Lair offers a queen size bed, a bathroom in close proximity and a front balcony. Both rooms are furnished exquisitely to help you relax and enjoy your stay.
