"A pristine location in the hills outside of Maleny. The Beechtree cottage was a touch small for the four of us plus dog, but we loved the property so much (the waterfall walk was great, along with the horseback riding - thanks!)that we've booked the larger farmhouse for a week in December (looking forward to swimming in the waterholes) when we will be entertaining overseas relatives. The cost of accommodation was typical of what we expect in the Maleny area (not the cheapest), but for extended stays (as we will be doing in December) Robyn and Ross discount the daily rate - thanks for this as well! Service was great! Robyn arranged a birthday cake at a local bakery for my wife and nothing was too much trouble for her or Ross to arrange. In fact, on the day we had to pack up and leave, Ross came by to see if the kids wanted to feed all the animals again. Unfortunately our time was too short to take him up on his offer, but when we come back in December the kids will have many more chances to do this. The horseback riding was very enjoyable and the setting, looking out from the Beechtree veranda across the goat paddock at the bush on the other side of the ravine was lovely. An A+ experience!"

"Our cabin was comfortable and very cosy. The Kitchen had all we needeed and the bbq got a good workover. We loved waking up to the quiet country sounds and views, the goats were good neighbours !! Sadly we missed out on our trail ride as the weather was too wet. Next time ... Overall an excellent long w/end with friends."

"We had a lovely holiday, the cabin was clean and we found it very restful. We really enjoyed the horse-riding. It was lovely to have the ride tailored to suit our needs (experienced riders). We were able to really enjoy the trails at a walk, as well as having some faster paces. Ross the owner (Robyn was away while we were there) was very friendly. We are going back again for my daughter's 13th birthday.

Make sure you take food (or pre-book lunch and breakfast baskets) as it's about an 11 minute drive back to Maleny. There is a restaurant 5 minutes away for evening meals (Maudy's), that is sensational. "
