"Bellthorpe Cottage exceeded our every expectation. The cottage was beautifull and very comfortable. The peace and quiet and tranquility of the area amazing. We loved the local birdlife and the beautifull farm horse Sheba. David the owner was very helpfull and friendly, helping us greatly to explore the local forests on our mountain bikes. "We had a perfect break at Bellthorpe cottage. The accomodation was very private, surrounded by trees containing numerous kinds of birdlife with just a short walk to a secluded rainforest with waterfalls. Belthorpe Cottage itself with great verandahs to relax on had just what we needed for a very comfortable stay (eg well equipped kitchen, backpack & binoculars, games, books on local history, wildlife & conservation etc.) We were made very welcome by the owner who was more than happy to assist with any requests."

"Comfortable and homely cabin, very peaceful location, with a great kitchen for self-catering, and lovely views from all windows including the bedroom. I particularly enjoyed sunsets on the verandah feeding the multitude of different birds. The rainforest walks are fantastic, it was lovely to spend time next to the waterfall. "
