Cottage, Holiday house

Relax and unwind in our fully self contained 1940's style home.
The fully equipped country style kitchen has a fridge and a microwave.
Laundry has a washing machine and clothes dryer.
The bathroom has a full size freestanding bath, and the shower is over the bath.
The house features leadlight windows, polished timber floors and decorative plaster ceilings.
Television, C.D player and a variety of books and boardgames suitable for Families.
The main bedroom features a Queen Sized Bed and an electric log fire to warm and comfort you if the nights are cool.
Airconditioning for the warmer weather.
Enjoy complete privacy as you soak your cares away in the freestanding bath. Light the candles, relax and enjoy the views through the Bay window. Watch the sunset over the distant Mt Tarrengower.
Feel free to wander over the farm through the bush and into the hills. Watch the native birds and animals in their own backyard.
Walmer is approximately 15 kilometres from Maldon, Harcourt and Castlemaine.
Harcourt has wineries close by and is the Apple Growing Capital of Victoria.
Castlemaine and Maldon are well known tourist destinations. Wildlife in the garden and on the dams means that NO PETS allowed.

Walmer is located in Central Victoria on the Goldfields Tourist Route.
Approximately 15 kilometres from Maldon, Harcourt and Castlemaine.
Walmer Cottage is only 5 kilometres off the Calder Freeway on the Maldon Tourist Route.

Walmer Cottage is set on over 700 acres of Wool Growing Farm.
The cottage is shaded by large mature Sugargum trees, and the creek below the house features mature Redgum trees.
The house with its recently planted garden, is fenced off from the Merino Sheep and Lambs who live in the paddocks surrounding the house.
The dam outside the house yard is a popular watering spot for the local population of wild life. You may see Swallows,Cockatoo,Galahs,Wood Ducks, Grass Parrots, Lizards and Skinks, Gecko, Frogs, Kookaburra, Magpies, Blue Wrens and Kangaroo.
