Cadair Cottage is a romantic luxury cottage in the Hunter Valley. It is on 10 acres, totally private and has magnificent valley views. You will love the heated outdoor spa on the front decking - enjoy the views or study the stars at night.

Cottage

The cottage is 15 minutes from the heart of the vineyards. There are 2 queensized bedrooms,and the cottage sleeps 5 people.
The front door opens onto a huge timber deck overlooking the most stunning views. The front deck has an outdoor spa with hydrotherapy massage jets which will ease away the aches and pains of modern day living. French doors next to the dining area open onto a rear timber deck where you can watch the sun go down, while dinner cooks away on the BBQ.
There is an abundance of birdlife, and native Australian fauna such as wallabies and goannas.For the keen bush walker there are many tracks to explore.
The cottage has cable TV, and a range of DVDs and music if you just want to take it easy.
Every room in the cottage has a view and you will find yourself continually saying "How's the serenity"!

I've had the most relaxing 4 days of my life. So peaceful, so quiet. The sound of the birds right through the day was wonderful. The cottage was lovely, extremely comfortable with lots of thoughful extras. I hope to be back soon. Elena

Locality

There is certainly no lack of things to do in the area.
Wine tasting - there are scores of vineyards in the Hunter Valley. The closest being literally next door at Rosebrook Estate. The main tasting is 15 minutes drive away. A bus can be arranged to pick you up and take you on winery tours.
Morpeth - if you enjoy antiques and craft shops, the historic town of Morpeth, just 20 minutes away will be paradise.
Barrington Tops National Park - approximately 45 minutes away. Bushwalking in the beautiful mountain park.
Eating out - there are numerous restaurants and cafes to choose from.
Ballooning - hot air ballooning is only 15 minutes away
There is a day spa for massages and treatments, just a 5 minute walk away from the cottage

Property

The property is situated on 10 acres and has views of the Hunter River from the front deck. The front lawned area is fenced (although not pet secure)and big enough for a football game. The back area is fenced and secure for dogs. There is a large kennel in the back area. A gas BBQ and outdoor setting, along with comfy deck chairs are provided.
The cottage is 15 minutes drive from Maitland and 2 hours drive from Sydney.

The property has a secure yard attached to the house with a Kennel. In addition to this there is 2 acres of lawn at the house for your pets to run around. Pets are welcome inside the house, however any damage will require payment.

Rooms and rates

Friday, Saturday and public holidays: $250 per night for 1st couple and $25 per night per extra person.

Midweek: $180 per night for 1st couple and $25 per night per extra person

Weekly: $1180 for 7 nights for 1st couple and $200 for extra couple or person for 7 nights

Pets stay free of charge. We regret the cottage is not suitable for children under 12.
