The rooms are Air Conditioned, carpeted and have TV/DVD/CD players, Plush towels, robes and personal bath toiletries have been selected by the owners to match the quality of the retreat.

Breakfast is an extravagant experience, served on the dining deck at separate tables overlooking the pool and Moreton Bay. A 3 course la carte gourmet affair, we use the best of locally available produce, including fruit and vegetables from our own organic orchard and gardens.

A guest's entertaining deck and BBQ is adjacent to the 12 metre swimming pool. Here, you may prepare your own lunch or dinner at your leisure, or just lie back and enjoy the pool area.

At the end of the day you may wish to enjoy drinks from our selected range of wines/beer at our "Sundowner Bar" while you relax watch the sunset and decide where you will dine for the evening.

A separate guests' lounge & kitchenette with tea & coffee making facilities and refrigerator adjoins the guests' suites. Relax in the lounge after dinner and enjoy complimentary Port and chocolates before retiring. (Perhaps take the 3 person Canoe or bikes to explore the next day).

Only 1 hour from Brisbane or 1.5 hrs from the Gold Coast, and accessed from Redland Bay's Ferry and Barge Terminals, Macleay Island is just 15 minutes on a speedy catamaran passenger ferry, or 45minutes by vehicular barge.

Macleay Island is the 'Jewel' of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, located in Moreton Bay. It has sheltered, cove like, sandy beaches. Biking, canoeing, sailing, boating, fishing, or swimming and walking are all popular activities. The Island is 6.5kms long and half a kilometre wide.

Enjoy the maritime scenery from the friendly Bowls Club, or, enjoy the picturesque and friendly 9 hole golf course. Both clubs welcome guests and both have bistro restaurants and courtesy buses. Our Tingira Boat club has sailing on Sundays and welcomes guests on Friday nights too. Other eateries are The Blue Parrott Bistro Cafe, a fantastic fish eatery The Naked Fisherman and Truly Scrumptious Deli Cafe - the last two located 5 mins walk around the corner from Yarrandabbi.

In our natural Australian beachfront setting you will be delighted to find 200 species of birds, bearded dragons, blue tongue lizards and many species of frogs.
