The Island Sanctuary was created with tranquillity in mind. It is a wonderful place for adults to get away & spend time together.
This is a luxurious and elegant adult get away offering two guest bedrooms each with a queen size bed.
Each bedroom is airconditioned and has an ensuite bathroom, walk in robe,bath robes, tea & coffee making facilities and a bath with shower.
The Verandah Room has French doors opening onto the fully screened deck where you will find a delightful setting to enjoy a coffee & the abundant birdsong.
Upstairs in the tree tops, The Blue Room is spacious & very relaxing. Both rooms have a DVD/TV/CD player with a small library of DVD's on offer.
The guest living room is beautifully furnished and you can enjoy a glass of wine, read from our library, play board games or enjoy the company. French doors open onto the screened deck where breakfast is served all year round. Our breakfasts are always a treat.
We have a private, walled courtyard for you to enjoy the sunshine or have a barbecue.
We can arrange for a very relaxing and professional in-house massage, just sooo good! Follow up with an essential oil bath for total relaxation. Enjoy a divine facial with organic products! Or maybe a Soul Attunement session, just 1 hr and very, very relaxing. And...we offer Angel Card Readings as well.
We have a lovely space set aside for quiet times. Read, meditate or enjoy an energetic alignment with Angelique. We offer the EMF Balancing Technique, Bach Flower Remedies, guided visualiations for remembering your quiet space, inspiring books and quiet music to soothe the soul.

LocalityMacleay Island is within the protected waterways of Southern Moreton Bay, encompassed by Stradbroke Island. This creates calm waters for fishing, swimming and sailing.
If you like to fish, hire a dinghy and fishing gear and enjoy the usually quiet waters. You can hire a tinny for half a day or a full day on the bay.
We enjoy a fine restaurant, the local pub, and the restaurants at the bowling & golfing clubs.
Ride the ferries to other islands or just relax on Macleay.
If you have energy to spare borrow our bicycles and take the passenger ferry to explore Karragarra, Lamb or Russell Islands.
Macleay Island boasts its very own 9 hole golf course and George would be delighted to introduce you! Please feel free to use our golf clubs.
Our bowls club was voted the best little bowls club in Queensland in 2005 and has wonderful water views from its bistro.Try the chinese retaurant.
The island is fairly flat and easy to walk around if you enjoy walking.
Enjoy a swim when the tide is in at Pats' Point or Dalpura Beach. You can hop on a ferry for a 2 minute ride to Karragarra Island to enjoy their sandy beach.
