SPECTACULAR DESIGN:
This holiday home was specifically designed to capture the magnificent & ever-changing water views across Moreton Bay to the hinterland beyond. The living and dining rooms have floor-to-ceiling glass, allowing guests unsurpassed vistas of sunsets over the bay. Imagine... sipping champagne or enjoying a cold beer, while watching the sunset illuminate the night sky.

Louvre windows and overhead ceiling fans allow the cooling island breezes to circulate throughout.
Upstairs, the master suite is an open plan bedroom & ensuite area, encouraging "time out" for adults. The bed faces the waters of Moreton Bay, so why not laze awhile or read the papers & soak up the wonderful view. Have breakfast or coffee on your private deck, while friends use the one downstairs.

RELAX & UNWIND:
Preparing lunch or dinner has suddenly become far more enjoyable... take in the expansive view from the kitchen while utilising the new stainless steel appliances. Why not borrow one of our many books and CDs, then relax on a sun lounge on the shaded deck and watch yachts as they sail past. At the end of the day when the sun sets and paints its glorious colours across the night sky, gaze at the twinkling lights of Redland Bay as they illuminate the mainland... a truly spectacular sight.

Things To Do:

WANT A LITTLE MORE TO DO THAN RELAX?:
Sunset Waters is close to the local golf course (bring your own clubs, or hire them there), bowls club and a few minutes drive to Dalpura Beach - a popular swimming area.

For the "fisherman" - you don't even have to get in your car to throw in a line. Just stroll down our walkway to the waters edge below and try your luck at a spot of early morning fishing, while others are still asleep in the house above. Alternatively you can fish at one of the local beaches or jetties, and the keen angler can hire a boat from the local store for a half or full day.

Canoe and kayak hire is available from a local island resident, so spend time exploring the tranquil waters around the island.

Why not island hop - grab your backpack, water bottle, some lunch and jump onto one of the ferries to explore Lamb, Russell or Karragarra Islands - ferries leave each of the local jetties on a very regular basis.

Bring your bike with you from the mainland, or use one of those at Sunset Waters and you can peddle around the island, until you can peddle no more. Perhaps island hop with the bikes, enabling you to see places further afield.

Local Shops/Restaurants:

Macleay Island has 2 small supermarkets, a butcher with an array of cheese and other delicatessen-style foods, a bakery, a pharmacy, a seafood shop and several other businesses including DVD hire, a hardware store etc

For dining out entertainment, both the bowls and the golf club have restaurants open to the public. The Blue Parrot Cafe & Restaurant, centrally located near the post office and a 10 minute walk from Sunset Waters, is well-known for delicious and reasonably priced food along with friendly service. The clubs and Blue Parrot are open both during the day and also at night for meals. Check locally for opening times/days etc.

WEEKEND RATE:: Check-in Fri 3.30pm, check-out Sunday 4pm - Take advantage, enjoy the WHOLE WEEKEND at Sunset Waters with a late departure on Sunday: 2 nights $375 for a couple. Additional nights $100pn. $15 per person/per night - max 4 extra guests.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY LONG WEEKEND: 3 nights $495 a couple, $15 per person/per night- max 4 extra guests.
EASTER: Minimum 4 nights $700 a couple, $15 per person/per night - max 4 extra guests, or $900 week
MID WEEK TARIFF: 2 nights $325 per couple, $15 per person/per night - max 4 extra guests. Additional nights: $100pn, extra charges apply for additional guests
OFF PEAK WEEK:: $800 per couple or family of 2a & 2c (children up to 14 years of age). Extra guests $15 per person/per night - max 6 guests in total
