The front of the upper level of this beautiful home is an entire wall of glass to maximise the amazing views from the living areas.
This light filled open plan area contains a modern kitchen with an island bench, comfortable living area with a faux fire for chilly nights, dining area, huge day bed to laze around on and opens onto a deck overlooking the boats moored below.
The deck has an 8 person outdoor dining suite, BBQ and is the perect spot to lose yourself in the everchanging waterscape.




The masterbedroom has it's own private deck, queen-size bed, antique robe and ensuite.
Bedroom 2 is large and lightfilled with a queen-size bed and antique robe.
Bedroom 3 has a single bed, cot and change table.
Bedroom 4 has a single bed and builtin robes.
The bathroom is reminisent of a ships cabin with spa bath, stand alone shower and sloping ceilings.

Downstairs is a large entertaining area with more fantastic views, TV, DVD, pool table and a fold out sofa bed for extra guests.
There is an extra shower room, full laundry and lock up parking.
This is a house in which to do nothing but relax and enjoy.

Locality

Macleay island is sheltered in the vast marine park of Moreton Bay. It is rich in native flora and fauna, edged with mangrove foreshores and sandy beaches, providing respite from the outside world.

An eco-tourism dream and birdwatchers nirvana, the island offers a variety of experiences.

The calm waters are great for swimming, fishing, sea kayaking and snorkelling.

Getting There

To get to Macleay Island you need to use a water taxi, vehicle barge or private boat. Redland Bay is the access point to the island. it is a small coastal town situated between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It can be reached by bus from Brisbane city.
Airport transfers from Brisbane or Coolangatta can be arranged.
At Redland Bay the water taxi terminal is located at the southern end of Banana St. the trip takes about 15 minutes and there is a free public carpark at the terminal.
The car barge is located in Weinham St. Bookings are essential. This relaxing trip takes 40 minutes.
