PADDLES is a freshly renovated, self contained, 2 bedroom, airconditioned holiday home located on the sub-tropical Macleay Island.
Set high on a hill the front verandah offers water views, with the lights from the mainland twinkling of an evening.
The back verandah is a private entertaining area with a gas BBQ.
The kitchen and bathroom have recently been redone in relaxing neutral tones.
The main bedroom is a peaceful spot to relax at the end of the day with the kids tucked away in the second room.
The lounge dining area is surronded by windows allowing you once again to peek out at your waterviews and sink into island time.
LocalityMacleay Island is sheltered in the vast marine park of Moreton Bay. Redland Bay is the access point to the island which is a small coastal town situated between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It can be reached by bus from Brisbane city. Airport transfers from Brisbane or Coolangatta can be arranged.
At Redland Bay the water taxi terminal is located at the southern end of Banana St. There is a free public car park at the terminal and the trip takes 15 minutes.
If you wish to bring your car on the barge it is located in Weinham St, Redland Bay and bookings are essential. This relaxing trip takes approx 40 minutes.
