Beacon Light is a north facing 2 bedroom appartment with stunning views of the boats moored in Dalpura Bay.
The lounge area is a large room with glass doors and windows to allow you to enjoy the water views.
Open these doors and there is a large deck complete with outdoor dining suite and a gas BBQ for you to relax on.
The self contained kitchen has been cleverly designed so that even while you're at the kitchen sink you can still admire the views.
The 2 large bedrooms are both tastefully decorated with queen-size beds and huge walk in robes.
The bathroom is huge, decorated in beach colours with a large spa bath for you to relax in, the shower is overhead.
There are full laundry facilities cleverly concealed behind doors in the bathroom.
Outdoors follow the path down the front lawn to your own waterfront and stroll 2 minutes along the beach to the best swimming area on the island.

Locality

Macleay Island is sheltered in the vast marine park of Moreton Bay. It is rich in native flora and fauna, edged with mangrove foreshores and sandy beaches, providing respite from the outside world. An eco-tourism dream and bird watcher's nirvana, the island offers a variety of experiences.

Getting There

To get to Macleay Island you need to use a water taxi, vehicle barge or private boat.
Redland Bay is the access point to the island. It is a small coastal town situated between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
It can be reached by bus from Brisbane city.
Airport transfers can be arranged from Brisbane or Coolangatta.
At Redland Bay the water taxi terminal is located in Banana St.
The trip takes about 15 minutes and there is a free public carpark at the terminal.
The car barge is located in Weinham St. Bookings are essential. This relaxing trip takes 40 minutes
