Grevillea Lodge Garden Room has a queen & a single bed, with ensuite. When booked in conjunction with our Blue Room (which has a queen bed & ensuite) it becomes a self-contained 2 bedroom unit for up to 5 people. Both bedrooms are well-suited to self-catered accommodation and/or longer stays, either booked singly, (when living areas are shared) or together as a self-contained unit.

Shared guest facilities include a kitchenette, with small fridge and microwave and washing machine - as well as a guest entry so you can come and go as you please. Internet access is available for your laptop.

Watch TV or DVDs, relax on the large deck with a book, or have a quiet drink in the private courtyard if the weather is pleasant. Observe the birds feeding in our native gardens.

Enjoy sitting on the deck reading or with a glass of wine, or just wander around amongst the many varieties of mainly native plants. Sometimes in the evenings frogs will join you near the pond.

Enjoy the company of friendly and beautiful malamute Nikki if you choose; and your well-behaved pets are welcome too. Bringing them indoors is not a problem as long as they don't have fleas, have their own bedding, and stay off the human beds. They can also play on the deck, and the yard is fully-fenced. If they're looking for a new friend Nikki will be more than happy to oblige!

Grevillea Lodge is very easy to find & is located 5 minutes drive from Westfield Belconnen, and only 500 metres from the Kippax Centre. Amongst the many services provided at Kippax are a supermarket, ATMs, pharmacy, post office, newsagent, video stores, take-aways and restaurants.

The Umbegang nature reserve just across the road offers bike and walking tracks along a creek and through natural bushland.

There is a bus stop 50 metres away providing public transport to the city, and passing Belconnen Mall, the University of Canberra, Calvary Hospital, Bruce Stadium and the AIS, and we are no more than 15-25 minutes drive from anywhere else in Canberra!

We can provide information about the many Canberra attractions, like important public buildings such as Parliament House, the National Gallery or the War Memorial, and events such as Floriade, or suggest other options for great experiences such as participating in exciting adventures at the National Zoo & Aquarium, touring the local wineries, or enjoying Canberra's Lake Burley Griffin.

There are many places in the national capital to enjoy gourmet dining - information is available to assist you to find places to eat that are just right for you.
