Pobblebonk is a spacious 4.5 star, 2 bedroom, air-conditioned cottage, 45 mins from central Adelaide, on a 12 acre farm.

Pobblebonk offers premium accommodation for travellers with dogs and an opportunity for dogs to enjoy holidaying in the country with their family. Dogs are thoroughly spoiled and made to feel just as welcome as their owners.

Nestled amongst gum trees, rolling hills & country gardens, this fully self-contained cottage offers stylish, comfortable accommodation for up to 5 people & 2 dogs. Both bedrooms have a comfortable queen-size bed & single fold up bed is used in the lounge area.
Dogs are allowed inside and can sleep in the spacious tiled sunroom, right next to their owners.

Dogs love exploring the lush gardens & paddocks & can also experience many country walks with their owners, visiting dog-friendly cafes and pet shops.

Sumptuous breakfast provisions are provided for guests to cook at their leisure in the fully equipped kitchen.
Indulge in the complimentary chocolates & port while snuggled next to the wood fire. Dogs have their own treat bag to enjoy!

The luxurious bathroom includes spa bath, separate shower, heated flooring & towel rack plus quality natural essence toiletries. Quality linen & bath robes are provided for your stay.

BBQs can be enjoyed either outside in the alfresco area or in the covered area on the deck. Babies are welcome and a cot & high chair are available for hire, price on request.

Pobblebonk is located on a picturesque, 12 acre property in Macclesfield, SA, a beautiful part of the Adelaide Hills.

Guests and their dogs are welcome to go for walks around the property - conditions apply (for dogs). We have roaming Dexter cattle, sheep, alpacas & chickens for your free-range eggs.
Guests can also take a walk around the local streets and parks, which are studded with lush gum trees and native shrubs. A visit to the Laratinga Wetlands in Mt Barker (with your dog) is a great experience with an abundance of birdlife and Pobblebonk frogs!

Pobblebonk is 'dog friendly' only for up to 2, well behaved, house trained dogs. Video clip from Channel 7's Discover program, can be viewed on our website. Dogs are welcome inside but are not allowed on the bedding or linen. We provide the following for dogs:- heated dog bed and other bedding, doggy throw rugs to use on the furniture, food and water bowls, toys, pooper scoopers,bags & old towels to wipe those wet/muddy feet. Small kennell if required. Dogs are given the royal treatment just like their owners and also receive a doggy treat bag with Schmakos!
Fencing: Pobblebonk is located in a quiet cul de sac on a 12 acre property so there ia a lot of 'rural' fencing with adjoinging properties. The cottage is fully fenced, some picket, hedging, mesh and rural, so it's not completely dog proof. We have found that dogs staying at Pobblebonk usually stay close to 'home' and their owners. A secure deck area is available with gate and partly sheltered.
Property walks can be fun and a map outling the details of the walk is available in the B&B. Dogs are to be supervised at all times. Discounts at Pet shops are offered to guests travelling with dogs.
Dogs can go on walks in local streets & parks, wetlands and river walks in neighbouring towns.

RATES:-

1 NIGHT STAY (any night): - $230pn for one couple, $70pn for extra person/s. Infants under 2 years and in a cot are free of charge, children under 12 years are $40pn, over 12 years are at adult rate.

2 NIGHTS & LONGER: - $195pn for 1 couple, $70 pn for an extra person/s. Children as per 1 night stay.

"SPECIAL DISCOUNTS" apply to longer stays of 2 nights or more. Get one night FREE when you stay for 7 nights, you will only pay for 6 nights - a saving of $195!

LONG WEEKENDS & Public Holidays, (including Xmas & N/Year) attract a 2 night min.stay; EASTER is a 3 night min.stay.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR 2 night min.@ $195pn for 1 couple & $70pn each additional person up to max. 5 people.

RATES for THE LILYPAD STUDIO - a motel style, 1 roomed Studio, separate bathroom. $120pn per couple, extra person $40pn (up to 4 people). Extra charges apply for use of extra bedding or extra person/s.

A deposit of $100 (or full payment when booking date is less than 14 days) is required to secure a booking night. A larger deposit may be required for longer stays.

FULL PAYMENT is required 14 days prior to arrival date.
