Holiday house

Just like the aviatrix Amy Johnson in 1930 in her "Gipsy Moth" when she made her solo flight from London to Darwin. You can make yourself at home in our "Gipsy Moth" when you arrive in Darwin.

Our attention to detail will make sure you enjoy your Darwin experience in our "Gipsy Moth"!

"Gipsy Moth" uses traditional Darwin architecture to capture the breezes and provide wonderful views of the relaxing garden surrounds overlooking your own brand new private swimming pool. Pool towels, sun lounges and pool toys are all provided for your stay! It is also fully air conditioned to enjoy the the warmer months!

The engine of any home is the kitchen. "Gipsy Moth" has a modern kitchen with full size fridge, electric stove, microwave and dishwasher. It is fully equipped with quality kitchenware for up to eight people. There is outdoor dining for up to eight people in the huge under cover entertaining area. A BBQ is also provided for your enjoyment.

Just like any good cockpit the loungeroom has more dials and buttons than you really need. Huge 42 inch plasma TV, sound system with an iPOD dock and Playstation 2, DVD's, CD's and games are also provided.

Unlike the original two seater plane our "Gipsy Moth" caters to the needs of little travellers. Highchair, portacot, waterproof mattress protectors, kids cutlery, plastic plates and toys are all complimentary!

"Gipsy Moth" is fully fenced to make sure that little travellers and pets don't stray onto the tarmac.This also makes it possible to have well behaved four legged travellers! (by prior negotiation only).

If the huge backyard doesn't provide enough room for practicing your acrobatic flying there is a children's playground just around the corner!

After a busy day of touring Darwin open the gates, taxi into the property, park your vehicle, disembark and step straight into the hanger ready to relax! No nasty stairs or lifts to delay your stopover!

Wow - what a surprise! We were the first to visit Gypsy Moth following its complete renovation. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and easy holiday. The pool was great for the kids, and we loved the privacy and the experience of being in a traditional Darwin home. Locality

Centrally located "Gypsy Moth" in the Darwin innercity suburb of Ludmilla. The fantastic central position means that you are only 10 minutes from everything and the navigator's job will be very easy! Mindil Beach Markets, Casuarina Shopping Square, Nightcliff foreshore, Fannie Bay Gaol, East point, Parap markets, Northern Surburbs and the Darwin CBD are all located within 10km radius of the property.

Property

Freight such as trucks, boats, trailers, caravans, tools etc are no problem for Gipsy Moth with a secure garage and off street parking available.

All the bedrooms are bright and airy with tiled floors, tropical Territory artwork and full length louvre windows to catch the breezes. There are quality block out blinds for those late sleep ins!

The main bedroom has a king size bed that can also separate into 2 king single beds. There is room in this spacious main bedroom for a 3rd single trundle bed.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed with built in robe plus an LCD TV.

The third bedroom has a single bed with a single bed trundle plus a built in robe and LCD television.

There is a fold out queen size sofa bed in the lounge room that is also available.

The property has a garage that is suitable to store a small/medium/boat or larger boats within the secure yard. There is plenty of garden hose and space to wash down the boat after a bid day out on the water! Rob is always happy to discuss fishing spots with you - but maybe not the secret one!!
