Need a break? Spend a relaxing weekend or midweek in splendid surroundings and luxurious comfort in a well appointed homestead located in the heart of the wine country. Located less than 5km north of Cessnock, Grasmere Estate is well situated, close to major wineries, galleries, local shops, McDonalds and excellent restaurants.
The property is quiet and private with 53 acres of rolling hills and a lake with native wildlife. It has four queen bedrooms, a sofa bed, two bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen, outside BBQ and dining room for ten people.

Perfect for a break with friends.

The homestead, "Grasmere" (means "place by the lake"), is surrounded by covered verandahs and has views across the lake to the Brokenback Ranges.
The lounge room contains a log fire and TV/VCR/DVD where you can spend relaxing evenings and the three seater lounge converts into a queen-sized bed.

The main bedroom contains a four poster bed, ensuite and French doors opening onto the verandah. Bedrooms 2 & 3 have queen-sized beds and face north. Bedroom 4 or studio has a queen-sized bed, table and chairs and French doors that open onto the verandah.

The dining room and table is large enough for a party of ten, is light and airy with windows on two sides.

The main bathroom has a separate shower and a full-sized bath, which is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with microwave and dishwasher. Dinnerware, cutlery, glasses, cooking utensils and ovenware are all provided.

The outside BBQ area is undercover and includes an outdoor table setting.

Fresh linen is provided and the place is meticulously clean and luxuriously appointed.
