On the property at Cottages on Lovedale we have three self contained and seperate modern cottages. Each cottage includes: -

*Three bedrooms with queen size beds accommodates six & up to eight with the double sofa bed in lounge area
*Baltic pine gourmet kitchen with granite bench top, stainless steel under bench oven, microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and glass cook top.
*Two bathrooms, both with double headed showers and corner baths (one with spa)
*Two separate toilets
*Inverter reverse cycle air conditioning
*Slow combustion fire
*Flat screen TV, DVD/VCR, CD/stereo
*Gas BBQ and outside setting on verandah
*Each cottage has a security alarm system to protect your personal effects. Key pad operated front door - no keys required
*Ample parking is provided alongside each cottage
*We cater for guests requiring ramp access and grab rails
*All bed and bath linen provided
*Additional blankets and extra pillows
*Ironing facilities
*Tea & plunger coffee making facilities
*Gourmet breakfast hamper on weekends. Mid week choose between gourmet, continental or room only. For gourmet breakfast we provide variety pack cereals, orange juice, bread, butter, spreads, bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, milk, tea & plunger coffee.
*Bath salts & gel, shampoo & conditioner & shower body wash
*Hair dryers
*Please note: our cottages are NON SMOKING inside

It is strongly recommended that winery tours and restaurant transfers are booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

How to Find Us

From Sydney:

Take the Newcastle expressway, travel approx. one hour and take Cessnock turnoff from the freeway.
Follow signs into main street of Cessnock (Vincent Street). At the end of Vincent Street take a quick left, then right into Allandale road - following Braxton and Vineyard signs (you should pass McDonalds on your right).
Travel 5.3kms along Allendale/Braxton Road and turn right at that point into Lovedale Rd (golf course will be on the left as you turn into Lovedale Road).
Travel along Lovedale Road and another 6kms on you will find our Cottages on Lovedale sign on the right, just before Majors Lane. Drive along our property’s road approx 150 meters and you will find our three cottages.
Each cottage has a large number (1, 2 or 3) at the rear where the parking is located.

Fully wheelchair accessible to Australian standard AS 1428, Step or lip exists to the entry door, Shower has shower bars and a moveable shower head, Chairs are permitted in the shower, Unimpeded wheelchair access from car parking to the property, The toilet is fitted with railings/grip bars, Toilet is big enough to fit a wheelchair.

We have 1 cottage that has a ramp for wheelchair access and the car can park at the side where the ramp is for easy access. We have a separate tilet with grip bar/railing as well as a bathroom with shower bar, moveable shower hear and drop down seat.

Eco-friendly

Bio-cycle or equivalent waste system., Ecological activities nearby, Ecological information and activities on site, Recycling facilities available.

We have a solar powered entrance sign and solar powered driveway lights. We recycle all glass bottles, tins, cans, acceptable plastics, cardboard and paper. We use a continuous gas hot water service that heats water as you require it and doesn't store it. We use only invironmentally friendly cleaning products & fluro lights in all lamps and down lights. Our cottages are on tank water and an invirocycle waste system.
