"Belverdere Beach House is situated just minutes away from the main town. With a beach side view, you can't go wrong with it. Asides from the view, a whole array of birds can be seen from the balcony. This quiet neighbourhood ensures a peaceful stay.
But it's not just the nature that captivating, the house resembles a cute cottage- cozy at night, and in summer, cool as a whistle. The facilities make staying in a rather fun.
There were only a few minor problems, one being the drive way lacking an entry point. Another problem involved the lack of clear TV reception. But these are just minor details.
Overall, our stay was pleasant. :)"

"Located in a hilly residential area only minutes from town, our stay was surprisingly peaceful.
We had hot tea on the balcony on the beautiful crisp winter mornings while enjoying the ocean view in the distance.
Heat from the small wood heater rose up the A-Frame walls, making the 6 single beds on the mezzanine a toasty sleeping spot at night. There was a backup heater that was used until we got the fire crackling.
For those who preferred privacy there was one bedroom with a queen size bed. There was also a fold out couch, which converted to a double fouton.
Cosy, yet social, it was the perfect place for our girls' weekend. Sound traveled, but we enjoyed being able to talk to one another!
The movie collection kept us entertained at night and in the mornings there were cockatoos and rosellas on the balcony.
Location wise, it was perhaps a three or four minute drive from the Centre of town and the beach. Foodworks was even closer for when we needed groceries or a bottle of wine. The hills in the area were steep -- hard for walking -- but they made for great views.
There was a BBQ on the balcony which we didn't get to use - perhaps next time.
There were only two things to make note of: first, there was a tight turn into the driveway and a curb of concrete to get over. No problem in a 4WD, but perhaps don't bring the sports car with low profile tyres! Second, there was a stove-top and microwave, but it was only after we had made our pizza we realised there was no oven to cook it in! Neither of these are real negatives - simply drive carefully and enjoy a meal in on of the fantastic restaurants.
Everyone loved it, and said what a nice place it was. We were all sad to leave.
