Holiday house

Jumberdine is located just 1.5 hours drive west of Brisbane and is 16km from the township of Gatton.

This beautiful farmhouse sleeps 6. It has a master bedroom with Queen bed and walk in robe, two single beds in the adjoining bedroom, a two way bathroom with beautiful Victorian claw foot bath, shower and vanity unit, a separate WC, a fully equipped kitchen with large stainless steel oven and gas range for those budding chefs, an open plan living area with both formal and casual meals area, lounge room with TV, DVD, Stereo and wood burning fire to keep you warm and cosy in those winter evenings, a small office area with PC & printer and a children's retreat with TV, DVD, VCR, full size bar football table, dartboard and double sofa bed. There is also a small library of books, CDs, boardgames & toys available for use during your stay.

Located underneath the house is a BBQ and seven piece outdoor setting and wrought iron setting for two is located outside the front door, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set over the hills. There is also a camp fire area near the house to enjoy camp oven dinners (camp ovens provided) or toasted marshmallows with the children. Star gazing on this property is a must and there is a small telescope for your use. Pets are more than welcome so you really can bring the whole family.

Locality

There are many things to do in and around the local area including bush walking, sky diving and hot air balloon rides to name a few.

In the cooler months enjoy a roaring camp fire whilst being mesmerized by surreal sunsets and unbelievable night skies.

A short drive from the property brings you to the township of Gatton with a population of 6500 people a busy shopping precinct, two major shopping centres and several pubs. There is also the Gatton Transport Museum, Visitor Information Centre and Lake Apex. As this area is referred to as the "Salad Bowl of Queensland" be sure to try the fresh local produce.
