This is a great place for kids, lots of animals and real food to eat. The holiday home is 200 m from our home in a 4 acre hazel nut grove with views of Mt. Arthur private and rural. We are centrally located as well - lots to do in the North East and Tamar regions ask us for more info...
The holiday house is fully self contained bedding and towels suplied and this price includes a selection of veggies from the garden and a care package of provisions to start you off including some of our honey comb and local Lilydale bread.
The village of Lilydale is a 15 min walk and there there are all the usual services.
Our bungalow ( built in 2000) has two bedrooms one is a queen and the other can be either two singles or a king size. There is a pull out fully sprung sofa bed too. The facilities include everything you would need for self contained; fully equipped modern kitchen, laundry, shower, etc. Electric blankets and a 7 kw heater. We have a porta cot.
The accommodation is on our farm where we grow veggies, berries, nuts and have fruit trees and hens, ducks and geese - pony, cat hens etc..There are bandicoots occasionally on view at night.
The views are great there is a stadium size lawn tennis court.
This was the best place we found in our Tasmanian trip. The kids had a fabulous time with all the animals, it was just what we came to Tasmaia to experience real, friendly and a supberb location.
