Red Rooster Host Farm is a peaceful, tranquil place. Situated at the end of a quiet, country road with easy access.
Beautiful park like grounds with majestic, century old tree's, the English style garden has thousands of naturalized daffodils, blue bells, and foxgloves blooming in spring and early summer.

Children will enjoy the freedom of the open lawn spaces to play and explore.

Our friendly, playful dogs Joey & Benny
will keep you busy with a game of fetch, eggs to collect from our chooks daily, cute rabbits, and feeding the small flock of black sheep is always a treat.

Red Rooster Host Farm is surrounded by vast acres of forest, with many quiet areas to enjoy. . Explore the delights of a rain forest, complete with giant tree's & tree ferns, creek with mountain fresh water.

Guests are welcome to any produce in our organic vegetable & berry garden, when in season.

At night the grounds come alive with visiting wallabies & other wildlife critters, feeding on the lawns surrounding your cottage.

Accommodation is a comfortable, self contained cottage with simplicity & country charm. Suited for a couple, or small families, warmed by a cosy combustion fire with plenty of fire wood supplied.

The guest cottage is situated next to our home, with own private entry.

Kitchenette with cooking facilities, flat screen tv dvd's & wifi internet is available.
Two adjoining bedrooms, room 1 has queen bed, bedroom 2 a queen bed & a single bed, with feather doonas & quality linen, electric blankets .Wool carpet.

Delightful bathroom with antique
claw-foot bath, large shower over bath.

Sun room, entry has nice views of the garden, great spot to relax with a glass of local wine & platter of tasty cheese.

Please come in Burns road direction only. Turn off from Golconda Road, 5km past Lebrina Post office / general store.
We advise guests not to come via North Lilydale road as directed by GPS when approaching from Lilydale direction, this road is suitable for 4WD vehicles only.
Red Rooster Farm is 1 hour drive from Launceston airport.

We only have one accommodation cottage on the property, therefore your privacy at all times is asured during your stay with us. No other guests, to break your peace !

Property is surrounded with forest, therefore birds are plentiful. Some rare birds can been seen at times, example wedgetail eagle, black cockatoo, white goshawke.

Our farm is set on 16acres which is surrounded by thousands of acres of forest, with many good tracks for walking, or mountain biking. There is also a specially built mountain bike track close to our property.

Farm animals live on the property, Sheep, Chickens, Dogs, Other farm animals, Guests able to interact with the farm animals.

Kids love to collect the eggs daily from the quaint, old chook house, the black sheep are always popular too. Joey & Benny our two very playful, friendly dogs will keep you very busy with the ball. PC is a beautiful peacock, he enjoys coming around to the guests cottage door each morning.

Pets are welcome inside the cottage, there is a sunroom/entry area where your pet
can sleep, bring their own bedding.Dogs are allowed in the cottage, except on the beds or sofa. There is plenty of room for dogs to run on the lawns. We do have 2 dogs, 1 female whippet x & male border collie x. Personal responsibility of your pets will be required, due to the free range chooks & peacock & wildlife. We request that your animals are taken with you on day trips.

Honeymooner's have stayed with us & enjoy the quiet, tranquil environment, with many magical walks into nearby rain forest, or relax under our large, beautiful shady tree's. The cottage has a lovely old clawfoot bath tub, & a romantic log fire, wood is supplied each day.Queen size bed, with feather quilts & quality linen.
