Holiday house

Leanyer in NT. is a northern suburb of Darwin. Leafy suburb with the house situated in a quiet court only 10 minutes drive from Casuarina beach and shopping centre.

Enjoy the balmy dry season tropical nights under the cooling fans and airconditioning in all bedrooms. Cool tiled floors throughout. The main and third bedrooms have QS beds and morning views over the garden. The second bedroom has a single bed and lots of extra space. There is a 4th room which could be used as a bedroom or an office.

The bathroom has a shower and bath and a separate toilet. Internal laundry has a large washing machine and with Darwin having an average daily temperature of 32 degrees, there is no need for a dryer. The undercover back verandah area overlooking the pool is the favourite dining area. There is undercover parking for one vehicle and drive in space for 2 more.

The house is open plan with kitchen, dining and lounge rooms all giving the feel of being very spacious. There is dining for 6 both inside and outside. Two large recliner lounge chairs and a 3 seater couch make watching TV a relaxed experience. There are quality appliances, crockery and utiensils. Would suit one or two couples sharing a break away in the NT or an Executive

A regular bus service is 2 mins walk from the house and on weekdays there is an express bus to and from Darwin for the workers. A $2 bus ticket lasting 3 hours to anywhere around Darwin is bargain travel! if you're a pensioner the bus is 50c.

A 10 minute walk to the local shops will find a supermarket, newsagent, takeaway foods, chemist, doctor and dentist. The nearby Leanyer Water Park is lots of fun for the kids. A 20 minute drive will get you into the heart of Darwin city which is about 15 kms away. The dry season comes with loads of cultural entertainment in the city, so it's a great time to be around. Kakadu National park is only a 2 and a half hour drive from home.
