"The privacy and the breakfast provisions - loved the fresh strawberries & raspberries. Owners were great and even considered our needs in bringing over a fan when the weather turned hot. Convenience of location was excellent as were the views. Homemade biscuits were a real treat.

"The only problems with Protea Hill was the lack of adequate living space for four adults and the absence of cooking facilities other than a microwave oven. The service provided by our hosts was very good and the view was fantastic. The property is also very well located with regard to Launceston and it's attractions."

The deck was a pleasant place to sit in the evening or have a cup of coffee in the morning. I would recommend this cottage highly and the price was very reasonable. "
