"Stella Maris" is virtually situated on beautiful Roches Beach, overlooking Frederick Henry Bay only 18 km from Hobart. It is a stunning beachside holiday home, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a multi-purpose 2nd living area. Extensive use of glass capitalises on the northern aspect and stunning views. The main area is open plan with a state-of-the-art kitchen, large living area, with an open fire, and this captivating area opens up to the outdoor entertaining space, with a barbecue and an intriguing reflection pool as a water feature and direct access onto the beach. The home is architect built and is to dream about! With 2 bathrooms, including a spa, a walk-in robe,and family room there is plenty of space for a group or 2 families staying together. It is all on one level.

Honeymooners, first time or second would thoroughly enjoy "Stella Maris". Imagine a day of sight seeing, a warm spa, then a snuggle-up infront of the open fire to watch the sunset over the beach with a wonderful Tasmanian wine. Heaven!

Not only is it less than 20 minutes drive to Hobart and surrounds it is also about the same distance from the Airport. The beach is sheltered from the prevailing westerly wind and is a safe family beach. There is a children's playground quite close also.

Lauderdale is well situated for a day at Port Arthur, or south of Hobart. Richmond is less the 30 minutes away, and there are wineries within easy reach. It is an ideal spot to sight see from with Hobart so close and Salamanca Market, Cascade Brewery, Cadbury's, Moorilla, Mount Wellington and the Botanical gardens in easy reach. Meadowbank Winery and Barilla Oyster Farm are also close at hand, and yet Stella Maris is far from the maddening crowds.

The best feature is the magnificent vista and position. The home radiates warmth and hospitality and is furnished with some exquisite pieces. It is possible to watch the sun rise and fall over the water, and at the same time hear the waves lapping on the shore, only meters away. A dream come true!

Lauderdale is, by mainland standards, suburban, so close to Hobart, and even closer to the airport or Eastern Shore shopping complexes. 18 km to the city and less to the airport. It is an easy drive to Opossum Bay and South Arm, and a day trip to Port Arthur, or the Huon Valley and AirWalk. It is accessible from many directions
