Waverley House Cottages - Lakes Entrance's newest, are nestled on 8 acres of private, landscaped native gardens, overlooking Bass Strait and the next-door golf course.
Your on-site hosts offer spacious fully self-contained accommodation with everything supplied - 4 two-bedroom cottages - perfect for families and travelling groups with full kitchen/laundry,TV/DVD/VCR and quality fittings.
Two one-bedroom cottages are designed for that special escape with all the above features plus two-person spa, woodfire and surround sound.
Our guests enjoy exclusive use of a solar pool, BBQs and heated spa with woodfire, in a quiet location which is close to town, Rail Trail and Airport as well as Lakes View Golf course. The ideal base to explore East Gippsland's many attractions or just unwind.

Locality

Lakes Entrance is the perfect base to explore the Gippsland Lakes and wilderness areas.A short walk over the footbridge takes you to 90 Mile beach. In, on or around the water there is lots to do - hire a boat or kayak and explore the waterways at your leisure or take a relaxing cruise on the Lakes or visit the nearby winery by boat. Watch one of the largest fishing fleets in the Southern hemisphere unload its catch and sample them at a floating restaurant.Play a round of golf or take a scenic flight over the magnificent waterways and forests.

Lakes Entrance Waverley House Cottages are brand-new, fully-equipped, spacious accommodation, designed and purpose built by us as Master Builders and resident hosts on-site.
Our family has five generations of involvement with Lakes Entrance's fishing and accommodation industries and we have preserved the name "Waverley House" which was a guest house Rob's grandparents owned in the early 20th century.

Lakes Entrance is situated on the famous Ninety Mile Beach so endless beach spots can be found. Main Beach, Eastern Beach and Lake Tyers Beach have surf patrols in the summer months for safe swimming. At our cottages we have a solar heated pool and indoor heated spa for guest use.

Canoeing & Kayaking

The Gippsland Lakes is a haven for both beginner and experienced Kayakers as are the many rivers that feed into the vaste lake system. Guests can also enjoy surf kayaking or head to the Alps to paddle or kayak the Tambo or Snowy Rivers.

We join Lakes View Golf course - a pretty 9 - hole course and are 5 mins. drive to the highly rated 18 hole public course in Lakes Entrance. As well a short drive takes you to Kings Cove in Metung or the bairnsdale Golf Course on the Paynesville road.

Wake boarding / water skiing

The Gippsland Lakes is a haven for both beginner and experienced ski ers and wake boarders in designated zones. Boat ramps around the lakes give access to a number of ski locations.

Our cosy one bedroom cottages - Salmon Company and Fishpen feature woodfires and the two bedroom Bass Cottage does as well. We are only 21/2 hours drive on the all weather access Great Alpine Road to the snowfields of Dinner Plain and Mt. Hotham - where else can you enjoy both sand and snow!
