Holiday house

The Holiday House is situated on the shore of Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest saltwater lake which is over four times the size of Sydney Harbour. Lake Macquarie is a stunning waterway famous for it's clear deep blue waters and abundant bird and marine life. It is also conveniently located - just 60 minutes north of Hornsby or 90 minutes from the CBD/Eastern Suburbs.

Features

The Holiday House sleeps up to 10 guests in 3 tastefully decorated double bedrooms and an adjoining bunkhouse ideal for children. It is stylishly appointed with satellite TV, CD/Stereo, DVD and VCR. The house comes complete with all linen; fully-equipped kitchen with quality appliances; 2 bathrooms; full laundry facilities; and a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking and entertaining on the back deck overlooking the lake.

Also included are a double lock-up garage and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The house’s location is excellent – across the road from the village shops and a stroll along the reserve to the licensed bowling club and bistro.

Activities

Activities on offer at the Lake include swimming, fishing, sailing (yacht cruises by arrangement), water-skiiing and wind-surfing. The level rear lawn to the lakefront makes for easy access to the water, and the public jetty is adjacent. Golf courses and tennis courts are nearby. The Holiday House is just 10 minutes from stunning Frazer and Birdie surf beaches and is conveniently located for easy access to the Hunter Valley and the vibrant Central Coast – only 20 minutes away!
