Our unique Beach House is open & fresh, allowing you & your guests the space to relax & enjoy their time together.

Come & enjoy in the village atmosphere of Blacksmiths, which is one of the areas great surf beaches & only a short walking distance from the Beach House.

The Beach House is situated in Blacksmiths on the mouth to Lake Macquarie, the biggest saltwater lake in Australia popular with sailing, scuba diving, fishing and skiing. If you & your family are into Water Sports like Surfing, Skiing or Fishing this is the spot to be.

A little further west we have the Hunter Valley vineyards that produce some of Australia's finest wines.
Dining is also fantastic with a diverse range of waterfront dining, including cafés, lakeside restaurants, bistros, pubs and clubs, there's always a culinary delight awaiting you just around the corner. Or you can simply pick up some freshly caught seafood at Swansea.

What you Said:
We Scots aren't usually short for words, however i doubt Burns, Welsh, Stevenson, Banks, or Brookmyre could adequately describe how hospitable Mitch and Kaz are. Without doubt this is the best hostel either of us have ever stayed in -- not only are the facilities and the surrounding area top notch, but the owners will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and even part of the family!
