Have you ever been to Paradise? You'll find it on the Lions Tourist Road, 6k south of the Qld/NSW border in the Macpherson Range.

Cougal Park property is over 135 hectares of peace and tranquility - a perfect place to relax and de-stress.

Close to the World Heritage Listed Border Ranges National Park,it makes a great base to explore all that the area has to offer, including Sheepstation Creek, and the Tweed Range Scenic Drive.

The property has 11k of old logging tracks, for those who wish to wander and look at the trees, birdwatch and see the native animals.

Your accommodation is a comfortable suite,in restful tones, Queen size bed, large selection of pillows, goosedown doona, fan & heater, desk, fresh flowers, unlimited filtered rainwater for drinking, and a large ensuite, fluffy bathrobes & slippers.Tea and coffee are available in the kitchen.

Breakfast of seasonal fresh fruit and home made hot bread, preserves & more, is served on the deck overlooking the valley, to set you up for your day of exploring.

Dinner is available, served outside under the stars, or in the dining room, and is cooked on the woodfired stove in the kitchen - great juicy roast dinners with good oldfashioned flavour, served buffet style, together with home grown veges from our own organic garden, and traditional deserts. After dinner, sit and relax, and listen to music or chat - there is no television reception.

Lunches are also available on request, either as a picnic lunch, or to eat here, and special requirements can be catered for.

The owners of Cougal Park are dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the many different types of forest and ecosystems on the property, and to providing a safe habitat for the wildlife here, which include Koalas, Possums, Gliders, Red Necked Wallabies, Pademelons, Potaroos, a vast array of lizards, frogs, and 147 identified species of birds.

Cougal Park is 35 minutes from Kyogle, 60 minutes from Casino, and 70 minutes from Lismore and 2 hours from Brisbane.
Thankyou for a perfect stay. Great Food, great company, tons of laughs. We will be back. Lyle & Mary, Canada.

I was looking for a place to stay for the night and found Paradise. Instead of eating of the forbidden fruit, Elizabeth and Hugh have produced more - for everyone to share. Thankyou for your outstanding hospitality. Benny, Germany.
Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful landscape. Many thanks for a memorable visit, with delicious home cooking and wonderful comfy beds. John & Brenda, Devon UK.
